Welcome to scottdeanintegration.com (the “Site”), operated by Scott Dean Integration (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site and its content. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About Our Services

Scott Dean Integration offers transformational coaching, Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed guidance, somatic awareness practices, and preparation and integration support for sacred medicine experiences. Coaching is educational and supportive in nature. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, or any other licensed healthcare service. Please read our Disclaimer for important information about the nature and limits of these services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site, submit information through it, or engage our services.

3. Using the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Submit false or misleading information, or information about another person without their permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any related systems
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site, including by sending spam or automated submissions
• Scrape, copy, or harvest content or data from the Site using automated means

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, journal entries, guided meditations, audio, images, graphics, logos, and the Self-Assessment, is owned by Scott Dean Integration or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and listen to content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to the Site. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, publicly perform, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.

5. Guided Meditations, Journal, and Self-Assessment

Guided meditations, journal entries, and the Self-Assessment are offered for general educational and reflective purposes. They are not a diagnosis or a substitute for individualized professional care. Do not listen to guided meditations while driving or operating machinery. If any practice brings up distress you cannot manage, please stop and seek support. Crisis resources are listed in our Disclaimer.

6. Consultations, Sessions, and Payments

Scheduling, fees, payment, cancellation, and refund terms for coaching sessions and group offerings are set out in a separate client agreement provided before services begin. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the client agreement controls for those services.

7. Information You Submit

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit through the Site. Information you submit is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please do not use the Site’s forms to communicate about an emergency or crisis; forms and email are not monitored around the clock.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is complete or current.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scott Dean Integration and Scott Dean will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, income, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or its content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scott Dean Integration and Scott Dean from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any claim that cannot be resolved informally must be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Deschutes County, Oregon, or the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept them. We may suspend or restrict access to the Site at any time, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

14. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and any client agreement, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
